Jessica Oreck
I'm finding myself fascinated by the images of Documentary filmmaker Jessica Oreck's office. So many little collections. I couldn't do it myself, but like to look at the pictures.

Art Projects for Kids
As a mom who both wants to instill a creative streak in her kids and keep her sanity, I'm loving the ideas at Art Projects for Kids. It's like a never ending art-curriculum so that your kids can be creative even if you don't have an endless supply of creativity yourself.

the perfect bouquet
I think the texture of sweet peas and peonies together is so perfect it hurts. The peonies here are this close to budding. I can't wait!

train mural
I know a little boy who'd be in heaven in this space. I'm trying to think of a way to recreate it in our shoebox/apartment.

Framed chalkboard
Ever since I saw Penelope, I have wanted a chalkboard with an elaborate lacquered frame. Seeing this one over at Little Green Notebook has me itching to start hunting for the perfect frame for a DIY project.

embellish
2 beautiful ideas that I'd kind of like to use together:
Folded Fabric Flowers (this one by HanamiGallery)
and shoe clips (these by Erica Weiner).
Wouldn't a folded fabric shoe clip be incredible?

A chair with my name all over it.
The Large Puff by Aiveen Daly.
I'd satisfy it's longing to be mine, but a few thousand too many dollars keep us apart.

hair adornment
I kind of wish I'd lived in an era where women always dressed their heads up to be in public. Maybe then I'd have had a chance to wear something like this. Pretty things by Twigs & Honey.

Balloon Family Tree
Suddenly I'm seeing brilliant family tree art everywhere! Love this balloon one by The Small Object.

I'm crushing on these felt monogram pillows by alexandra ferguson. Her floral pillows are gorgeous as well.

raw chair
I love these muuto raw chairs at unica home.
Not enough to buy them ($$$$), but enough to maybe try to copy the style myself someday. (Can of spraypaint, anyone?)

miss ruby sue
I love missrubysue's creations. (Like this Big Star bib necklace) Would I ever feel like I had enough personality to pull one off? Dunno.
Dropcloth
This drop cloth turned tablecloth is genius. If only my boy didn't have a penchant for yanking tablecloths off of tabletops.......

centerpiece
I'm feeling fairly gloomy that I can't find a way to weasel these vintage silverplated centerpieces into my budget. They could be stunning.

Another tee project
Speaking of awesome tee-shirt projects.....
I love this t-shirt corset made by Nancy at belle epoque.
Pattern found in The Alabama Stitch Book.
Pillowcase Tee
I am so excited to try this pillowcase tee tutorial posted by Theodesign.
If only I had vintage pillowcases on hand, but alas.... I've not even room for the spare bedding I do own.

Limonata
We may or may not be single-handedly keeping our local Genuardi's/Safeway's San Pellegrino Limonatas out of stock. They are that good. (Ours come in a blue and yellow can... the Aranciatas are good too.)

toddler-style
I love this idea for kids creating stationery.
So much, in fact, that I've added "watercolors" to my shopping list.

generations
Somebody grab one of these limited-edition personalized family trees by Sarah Jane Studios! So lovely!
peep toes
After 9 consecutive years of living like/as a student (with at least one more to go) most of my shoes are what Reachel Bagley would call "carcasses". Cheap carcasses at that.
So today I'm dreaming of shoe shopping, or at least of wearing shoes that haven't been worn to bits.

Emphasis on the word "dreaming...." , that would be a non-active verb.(like these pretty lemon ones, by Frye)
Bonzie
How much do I love the wraps and shrugs at Bonzie? I'm so enamored of the poppy-like Burnt Orange Ethereal Baroque Wrap.
The romance is out of control.

Hollow Books
These hollow books by Suzanne Duket remind me of this old Miguel Bose music video. Only minus the Indiana Jones vibe.

The Leather Store
If I ever decided I could afford to spend more than $15 on a bag, I'd probably buy one of these by The Leather Store instead of a name brand designer... that's just how I roll. (Except not yet... right now I only roll for free)
little man shoes
Another thing I own far more of than is practical, but have a hard time resisting is cute baby shoes. Especially when they are for little men, like these by Aurelia and Annalise.

... candles
I have a huge soft spot for birthday candles. I already own more than I will ever use. Whenever I see particularly pretty ones I have a hard time not snatching them right up. These beeswax candles are not only pretty, they also pride themselves on being environmentally friendly.
And speaking of candles... if you stumble upon this discontinued candle on clearance at your local Target, snatch it up! It could pass for an expensive designer candle. (And I love the warm scent of amber).
briarpress
I keep checking briarpress.org hoping to see letterpress classes in a town near me, or a town in my near future. (Maybe you will be luckier than me.) It's a great mecca for the letterpress-minded. I especially enjoy their "museum".
Spring Gardening
To further cultivate our inner gardening nerds, we stayed up late last night watching Martha's Spring Gardening. I was glued to the screen, so tangible is my longing to get my hands in some good dirt.
Along those lines, this gardening post on apartmenttherapy also makes me happy. (MSL image from there)

Miss Avocado
I have loved a lot of Miss Avocado's work, but I am smitten by this pencil and watercolor illustration entitled Gretel.
