The perfect shoe

In my mind, is a T-strap with a short 1-2" heel.
Stylish and sure-footed.  Not too trendy, and you could walk a mile in such a pair, and look good doing it.

house slippers

With an end to my rental living and "it's a rental" mentality in sight, I've been in the mood for some house slipper living. I'd ideally like to have a pair for every walking family member. My browsing brought me to the new-to-me etsy shoe shop The Generation and their chic-y little ballet flats.

Vincent Shoes

Vincent shoes are getting great reviews from moms all over the interwebs for being a shoe that can hold up and look good until a toddler grows out of it. Since my toddler positively hammers his shoes, I'd love to see what all the talk is about. Plus they are having a summer clearance right now - up to 75% off.

Long Time Coming

Not dead, just busy transitioning into Summer and vacation season.

But I did discover that Repetto has moved way beyond the basic dance shoe.
Think I could justify this with my ballet-workout DVD?

white leather

If I didn't feel insanely guilty at the thought of spending this much money on a pair of shoes that will fit for approximately 5 minutes, then I'd have loved to see these on my baby boy.

embellish

2 beautiful ideas that I'd kind of like to use together:

Folded Fabric Flowers (this one by HanamiGallery)
and shoe clips (these by Erica Weiner).

Wouldn't a folded fabric shoe clip be incredible?

Little Gold Shoes

I was so happy to be reminded of this book from my childhood by SarahJane. I love the tradition she has created for her family.

peep toes

After 9 consecutive years of living like/as a student (with at least one more to go) most of my shoes are what Reachel Bagley would call "carcasses". Cheap carcasses at that.
So today I'm dreaming of shoe shopping, or at least of wearing shoes that haven't been worn to bits.
Emphasis on the word "dreaming...." , that would be a non-active verb.(like these pretty lemon ones, by Frye)
