Gussy

I'm gushing over new etsy shop Gussy's gorgeous reclaimed chairs.
Someday, when I have a place to put one, I want one.

Seems like it' always Schumacher

Even though I could not possibly justify even a discounted Schumacher fabric purchase, I still keep an eye out for some great prints on The Designer's Attic. This Shalker print as seen on this sofa has me daydreaming to no end. What are the chances it'll still be floating in my head when I arrive at a place/time where I could actually do something with some fabulous fabric? This "moving across the country in a few months" thing is killing the hoarder in me.

I have of late discovered my love of most things Art Nouveau.
In that spirit I am unable to get this mirror out of my mind.
I cannot possibly justify it to the husband, I need one more fragile item to move across the country like I need a hole in my head.
But I will be sighing over this mirror for years to come.
(On the bright side, Longwood is offering an Art Nouveau Floral design class and I'm totally taking it!)

sunburst mirrors

I've been hankering after sunburst mirrors lately.
Or rather, they've been popping up in my dreams.
If only I could find something like one of these lovelies on clearance at Homegoods.
Yeah, I know.
That will also be happening in my dreams.

Perfect Kitchen

For the record, I am deeply, madly in love with this kitchen.

Amy Butler Rugs

Have you heard that Amy Butler is making RUGS now?
Too bad that by the time I can afford one; everyone will have one.
Via my favorite things.

sausalito

Serena and Lily has reinvented the moses basket with their Sausalito Baskets. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of this first. (Their new slings look pretty slick too)

Framed chalkboard

Ever since I saw Penelope, I have wanted a chalkboard with an elaborate lacquered frame. Seeing this one over at Little Green Notebook has me itching to start hunting for the perfect frame for a DIY project.

Elephant on a string

I am completely in love with this wallpaper by Catherine Martin. The mini sofa doesn't hurt either.

A chair with my name all over it.

The Large Puff by Aiveen Daly.
I'd satisfy it's longing to be mine, but a few thousand too many dollars keep us apart.

I love these muuto raw chairs at unica home.
Not enough to buy them ($$$$), but enough to maybe try to copy the style myself someday. (Can of spraypaint, anyone?)

Dropcloth

This drop cloth turned tablecloth is genius. If only my boy didn't have a penchant for yanking tablecloths off of tabletops.......

centerpiece

I'm feeling fairly gloomy that I can't find a way to weasel these vintage silverplated centerpieces into my budget. They could be stunning.

Grayson

I saw these chairs around a formal dining table on display at the Williams Sonoma-Home in the King of Prussia Mall two years ago. Loved it. They've been on my mind ever since.

please remove your shoes

My brother's inlaws have a sign on their door reading,
"Please remove your shoes, the light carpet thanks you."
True Story.I am not a fan of light carpeting/rugs in real life because I don't like things that always look dirty. But if this were not real life, I would want this rug. A lot.
