Birthday Party Week

There's an infinite amount of inspiration in the interwebs for fantastic children's parties. In fact it overwhelms me. The past 2 years our oldest has had big parties, but this year (this week!) I think his third birthday will be considerably simpler. Lots of reasons for that, but it makes me kind of sad. I'm a party-planning kind of girl.

So to compensate I'm sharing some of my favorite parties this week.

Lovely Lovely

This kitschy UK store that specializes in colored paper doilies has some fun finds mixed in with the randomness.

Neige

In a perfect world I wouldn't hesitate to dress my boys in linen.
Like the lovely lawn shorts at Neige.
Reminds me of reading North and South... comments about how "civilized" people would never wear cotton when they could wear linen.
If that's true we're in sad shape.

High Street Market

Dear me, they find such amazing things.
And I can't afford them.
But I still love the vintage section of etsy.

Fermob

Summertime has me dreaming of a back porch or deck or any outdoor space where I could enjoy eating light summer fare. Someday, right? Well for my someday there's Fermob with fantastic designs for outdoor bistro seating in about a million different colors. Me likey.

Dash and Albert

I've had a "thing" for colorway stripes since I spotted them everywhere during my semester in London. These rugs by Dash and Albert make me all nostalgic for "flat" dwelling.

Lorrick

Lorrick has been getting universally favorable mentions all over the place. I like this one best. Plus they have a Yann Tiersen-esque site-track.

Jazz Ladies

Bee shower

I'm fawning over this bee-themed baby shower. All it really takes to catch my eye is a buffet table of apothecary jars, so imagine how happy this makes me.
