Did you know that there's an insane amount of lovely peacock-hair-ephemera out there?
I've had peacocks on the brain, and I've been seized upon with a desire to find a tasteful peacock-themed wedding or bridal shower to look at, and while I haven't quite succeeded, I've found tremendous potential.
If I just revealed that I'm insane, please keep it to yourself.

Okay, actually that just brings back bad memories of how every job I delegated to someone else got screwed up. (Picking up balloons... forgot. Icing the cupcakes.... they looked like they'd been sat upon.... bad day.)

Birthday Party Week

There's an infinite amount of inspiration in the interwebs for fantastic children's parties. In fact it overwhelms me. The past 2 years our oldest has had big parties, but this year (this week!) I think his third birthday will be considerably simpler. Lots of reasons for that, but it makes me kind of sad. I'm a party-planning kind of girl.

So to compensate I'm sharing some of my favorite parties this week.
